Stanley practiced Law for many years before returning to painting full time and embracing his passion for animal portraiture. He has always had a great fondness for the natural world and explores this interest in large scale, representational pieces and smaller, more intimate mixed media paintings of animals. His paintings are not only quirky and tongue in cheek but also technically accomplished.
