Kerry Souter is a Scottish abstract painter living in Ayr. She studied textile design at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen and worked in felt before being drawn more and more to painting. Her work is inspired by the personal connections and memories relating to the landscape and coastlines of Scotland. She creates expressive and atmospheric paintings in acrylic and mixed media which reflect her love of the textures and colours found in her surrounding environment.
