From lofty peaks to pastoral lowlands Linda Pettie's richly layered oil landscapes are a distillation of her visual and emotional memories. 

A self-taught painter growing up in Edinburgh, she is now settled in a rural hamlet in Fife. Linda feels a strong connection to nature and aims to express that intensity in her work, seeking that magical atmosphere of a particular fleeting time of day.

Over the years Linda has enjoyed exhibiting in Scottish galleries in group and solo shows and at events and art fairs.
