Margaret Denholm
Margaret is a freelance Scottish artist living and working in the Central Belt of Scotland, but she spends a great deal of time in Argyll, on the West Coast, and also paints the East Coast of Scotland. The ever-changing light and weather conditions across these regions are a constant source of inspiration for her paintings. Although Margaret paints a wide range of subjects, she has a passion for Scotland and the sea, evident in her many contemporary seascapes and landscapes. Margaret works mainly in acrylic, which allows her to create texture and use vibrant colour that does not fade with time. Her paintings are exhibited in galleries in Scotland and held in private collections in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Spain, France, and Switzerland, Canada, Spain, France and Switzerland.
