After graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 1993, Nichol held a variety of roles before establishing a commercial fine art company, an art school and a bespoke framer. He spent 15 years collaborating with Alasdair Gray and Oscar winning film designers. He works from his countryside studio painting the Scottish landscape among other passions.
