Stuart is a painter based in Edinburgh, inspired by the atmosphere, light and layered history of the city.  Working mainly in oils, he focuses on capturing the spirit of the place - from sweeping views of the Castle and Royal Mile to the quiet charm of closes, lanes, and everyday street scenes.

His work combines traditional techniques with a contemporary eye, aiming to evoke not just what a place looks like, but how it feels to be there.  Sturart paints both original cityscapes and personal commissions, including portraits and custom views.
